About Worth Forest Glamping
Get a taste for luxury glamping in gorgeous surroundings. Surrounded by charming Sussex villages and country pubs, with the amenities of Crawley only ten minutes away, you won't be short for things to do! The site offers just two safari tents and a glamping pod, each ideal for a rural escape. Here everything is provided, with all bedding and towels, fully equipped kitchens, and a BBQ and fire pit ready for your use. Sleeping up to four guests, the Owl Pod comes with a king size bed and two single trundle beds, along with central heating. You will also have an open plan living and dining area with a kitchen, plus an ensuite with a loo, shower and heated towel rail. Outside you will also have a decking with chairs and a picnic bench. The safari tents are beautifully furnished and there is also a six seater dining table in an open plan living room. Each tent has a double bedroom, bedroom with bunk beds and a comfy double sofa bed, along with an ensuite shower room. Each tent also has a covered deck area with furniture, plus a picnic bench for meals in the sun. You'll get your holiday off on the right foot with your complimentary welcome pack which contains tea, coffee, milk and essentials such as tea towels, washing up liquid, cooking oil and kitchen towels. There are also games, playing cards, books and magazines in each tent which are ideal for rainy days. You'll receive a welcome email that's packed with details of local activities and amenities, too. The site is home to a host of wild birds, rabbits and one resident muntjac, and as night falls there are hooting owls and shy deer for you to spot. Please note, this site is dog free.
The site is open all year round for pod bookings. Safari tents are available from April to October.

Things to do on site and in the Haywards Heath area
Nature lovers should head to Tilgate Nature Centre (15 minutes), home to a variety of animals including endangered species as well as all your favourite farmyard animals. You'll find lovely woodland walks and cycle paths by the lake, plus a chance to try sailing, kayaking and canoeing. You may even catch a whopper with fishing and even night fishing is available.
If you walk for 30 minutes, you are in the village of Balcombe, perfect for picking up tasty nibbles and having a hearty drink in the Half Moon, a community pub which belongs to the whole village. For more evening entertainment, try the Balcombe Club, where you can enjoy a game of pool, darts, two full sized snooker tables, beer garden and large bar and seating area.
Forest School Holiday Club (20 minutes) is the perfect place for den building, exploring, muddy play or using tools. You'll definitely want to pre book as it's very popular. The possibilities are endless and they safely guide the children in their choice of activity and encourage self-sufficiency.
