About Looe Yurts
Nestled in the paddocks of a charming 400-year-old farm, this idyllic site is a lovely spot for a luxurious family or romantic getaway to the Cornish countryside. Just five minutes from sandy and dog-friendly beaches as well as the charming port of Looe with independent shops, pubs and cafes. There are three yurts on offer, all sat on private deckings and enjoying panoramic countryside views. Each sleeps up to four with a comfortable king-sized bed, a double futon for children, a cosy wood burner, clothes storage, solar lighting and USB charging for your phone if you should need it. Bedding is provided. Enjoy gazing up at the stars from the comfort of your bed with the rooftop window, or head out onto your private decking to enjoy the night sky with a glass of bubbles. Outside you will also find a chiminea, BBQ and comfortable seating for al fresco dining. Private bathrooms are nearby as well as a communal kitchen dining area. The pretty harbour of Polperro is within a 20 minute drive and well worth a visit, or if you are a keen walker you are in luck! The South West Coastal Path is 250 yards from the site's doorstep taking you to Looe via the beach bar or head East to a lovely beach and restaurants at Seaton and Downderry. Dogs are warmly welcomed, with many dog friendly beaches nearby.

Each yurt has a private, lockable bathroom with shower, basin, heated towel rail and flushing toilet a short walk from the yurts.
A shared communal kitchen houses a dining table small gas hob, toaster, kettle and a microwave. There are even sinks, fridges and a freezer, plus a host of kitchen utensils along with enough cutlery, crockery and glassware to make sure you're all set.
For meals out the Smugglers in is a ten minute drive away or a 40 minute walk. The closest shop for picking up the essentials is a Premier a ten minute drive away in Barbican.

Things to do on site and in the Looe area
Set on a rural farm just 250 yards from the South West Coast Path you can head out for walks or days at the beach. There are dog friendly beaches at Seaton and Downderry and the glorious expanse of Whitsand Bay is close by. Millendreath is within walking distance and a good place to hire paddle boards and kayaks.
The historic ports of Looe and Polperro are within a few minutes drive, while Fowey and Mevagissey are worth the short trip along the coast. Mooch around the independent shops, stop for a bite to eat at a cafe or one of the award winning seafood restaurants.
The Eden Project is also within easy reach (40 minutes) and a must visit for nature lovers!
