Glencoe Camping and Caravanning Club is surrounded by National Trust woodland and all pitches enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains.
The eco-friendly Glencoe National Trust for Scotland Visitor Centre is a short walk from the site. This is wonderful walking country. The West Highland Way passes within nine miles of the site, and there are many other low and high-level walks, including eight Munros (mountains over 3,000 feet) and some of Europe's finest scenery. For a more relaxing holiday take a ferry across Loch Linnhe or climb aboard the Jacobite steam train in Fort William, to travel through dramatic and beautiful scenery - a route regarded as one of the greatest railway journeys in the world. Non-members welcome.
