A note from the site themselves...
A quiet site, located just inside the southern tip of the Peak District National Park, surrounded by farmland but with easy road access to us and Ashbourne, our closest town just 3 miles away.
Offering a relaxed and basic camping experience but with the essentials of clean facilities and wardens on site. With spacious pitches and plenty of green space for children to play away from other campers, watch from your tent or join in with other families in a game of cricket on a summer's evening.
After that, and with the sun setting, enjoy time with friends and family around a fire basket watching the embers glow into the evening. We hope to welcome you to the site soon, Annabel and the team
Lovely welcome when eventing the site. Extremely protected by a gate. Everything was pointed out for us so we knew where everything was. Facilities were extremely clean, never experienced a camp site like it. Plenty of amenities. Will definitely be returning
Great campsite

Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches (6 amp)May 2024
We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return. It was quite muddy after all the rain but the facilities were kept meticulously clean. It was in a great location for exploring the local area. We had a day at the national stone centre and Carsington. We also walked to the local pub for a lovely meal. The boys loved being able to play ball games in front of our tent. The owners are really friendly and always around to help. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Really nice site suitable for families and couples.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass PitchesMay 2024
Booked last minute and we were really pleased to come across the site. We will definitely return just for the easy access to the peaks.
Really clean toilets and shower blocks.
Huge pitches - wide enough for two vans.
The site was quiet, but had plenty of families playing in the spaces. Beautiful views.
Staff extremely helpful - offering maps and walks.
Pub short walk away with good home cooked food
