A few miles from the lake that shares its name, Windermere Club Site has many environmentally friendly facilities to match its beautiful surroundings, and is perfect for families.
The site is conveniently located near the main road between Kendal and Windermere, offering easy access to both towns and the varied attractions of the Lake District. There are plenty of walking opportunities and the nearby village of Staveley has an excellent pub serving food, as well as two cafés. You can also try their own 4 star-rated pub restaurant The Whistling Pig, and there are more restaurants and shopping in Kendal, which is also home to the Abbot Hall Art Gallery and the Quaker Tapestry Museum. Non-members welcome.
