Spread out in a gorgeous Somerset countryside setting. This peaceful and beautiful location is ideal for city dwellers looking for a rural experience. There are 70+ pitches, including limited electric, for campers, tourers and motorhomes alongside a lovely pub which is a 200 year old cider house, one of only six left in the country. It's on the national inventory of historic interiors and has hardly changed since WW1. Offering a variety of real ale and cider, from Butcombe original to Thatcher Cheddar Valley, this is a great place to relax and get cosy. The interior is rustic with some original Georgian wood panelling, stripped back wooden floors, a working Victorian fireplace, settles, pews and large wooden tables. It's a great place to socialise over a pint or two. There is even regular events and live music to enjoy.

You'll love uncovering the history of this mysterious space and a great place to start is the pub's tap room with its original Georgian painted door sign. You can settle down around the fireplace and try your hand at the traditional shove ha'penny board game.
Lots of excellent cycling and walking routes are available in the local area, including The Colliers Way which is part of Route 24 of the National Cycle Network. The route follows the old Somerset and Dorset Railway line and also the former Great Western line.
