Located just ten minutes from the stunning coast and five minutes from Sutton Hoo, this family friendly site is in a prime spot for exploring all that Suffolk has to offer. The campsite is also committed to sustainable, low-impact living to protect the surrounding environment. Guests can pitch up on one of the site's 35 spacious pitches, 15 with electric hook-up. The pitches are spread between five small fields and broken up by native trees and bushes, each welcoming tents, campervans, motorhomes, caravans and RVs. If you want a little slice of luxury, a 6m bell tent is also available, perfect for glamping. Sleeping up to five people, the bell tent comes with a king sized bed, double futon sofa-bed, single futon chair bed, bedding, electric, a small fridge and a kettle. Outside you will find a spacious decking area with a table and chairs under a shade sail along with a fire pit, gas BBQ and a hot plate, perfect for al fresco dining (all cooking implements and crockery are provided). This charming campsite is part of a working smallholding with rare breed sheep, pigs, alpacas, goats and chickens - and you're welcome to help as the animals are fed each evening. Depending on the time of year, you may be lucky enough to meet baby alpacas, goats, lambs, chicks, piglets and more. Campfires are permitted in fire pits (which the site hires out), and you can buy firewood (or you can bring your own). Dogs on secure leads are welcome, and there is direct access from the campsite to walking trails through acres of beautiful countryside.
The site is open from 29th March until 31st October, the bell tent is available from the 3rd May until 21st September.
