Close to the rolling hills of the Peak District National Park, this site is ideal for keen walkers, but is also just a mile from Alton Towers, the famous theme park. Pitches are available on grass or hardstanding with electric hook-ups, with caravans, motorhomes, tents and trailer tents all welcome. Guests in the Ready Camp safari tents are treated to a fully furnished glamping experience, but unfortunately dogs cannot stay in glamping accommodation. Non-members welcome.

Chatsworth House is nearby, and the area has a selection of market towns and steam railways to enjoy.
Further afield you'll find a number of spas, great shopping centres and museums all showing off the heritage of this famous area. Pottery houses also abound, where you'll find plenty of examples of the regional classic Wedgwood.
