Enjoying a stunning location within the Lake District, Near Howe is an idyllic campervan site with a small number of grass pitches set off the beaten track. A certificated site with the Motor Caravanners Club, it's peaceful, being located atop a hill, with a number of walks and bike routes easily accessed from site . The Solway Coast is under an hour away too. Dog friendly and non-members welcome.

The site is a certificated location with the Motor Caravanners Club and welcomes small sized VW-type campervans on five well maintained grass pitches. Please note, campervans must be no longer than 6m in length due to the site's location and access track. The Lake District setting here is an idyllic starting point for outdoor adventures, with a number of footpaths nearby and a short distance to the stunning Aira Force waterfall. Non-campers in your party might prefer to stay in one of the site's seven self-catering cottages, sleeping from two to seven people. Dogs and non-members also welcome.

Tick off some of the Lake District's most renowned towns, including Keswick and Penrith (both a 15 minute drive away) with plenty of shops to browse, a 14th century fortress and more to explore.
Take in the breathtaking scenery at the Aira Force waterfall nearby (7.3 miles), and the Whinlatter Forest Park (13.2 miles) has acres of way-marked trails to wander, along with a variety of wildlife.
The Solway Coast, Carlisle and Hadrian's Wall are under an hour away from the site too.
