The railway has two cars which are powered by an electric winding engine and which pass each other on parallel tracks as they ascend and descend sandstone cliffs in the town of Bridgnorth.

If you are based in Shropshire and fancy some superb snow action, it’s not hard to get to the SnowDome which is an indoor ski slope located in Tamworth. An abundance of snow-based activities can be enjoyed here, such as skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing, ice skating and tubing. No experience is required for any of the activities and kids as well as adults can get stuck in.
