A note from the site themselves...
Our campsite has been in our family since the late 1950s. It opened in 1964 and was run by my grandparents with just a few caravans, it has now grown to over 100 pitches. I love running the campsite with my fiancé and meeting guests from all over the UK and the World.
We feel incredibly lucky to work in such a picturesque place and I'm very proud of what we've achieved. Every year we endeavour to improve things even more so guests love the campsite as much as we do.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesSep 2023
We absolutely loved staying here.
The campsite itself is situated in a quiet location, but within walking distance to the local pub (The Farmers Arms) and village. Plenty of hot showers and clean toilets, washing area and utilities. A great shop for snacks and gifts. On Sunday morning we treated ourselves to a breakfast bap from the hot food trailer. Delicious!
The campsite is dog friendly, and although we didn't take our little furry monsters, we will return with them. This is a quiet campsite and we enjoyed the peace which complemented the breath-taking views. There was a small group of people who didn't respect the campsite, but these were dealt with in a fashion that can't be faulted. The owners of this campsite where the "pièce de résistance" - friendly, happy and extremely helpful. Although new to the site itself, you would have thought they had been there forever.
We went on a few local walks and debated climbing the "Black Mountains" which we decided against as it was drizzly. We did walk to Llangynidr which was about 6 kilometres. This has a beautiful canal which we strolled along. It also has a river and you can walk over the "Skinny Bridge" to take in the views. We ate at the Red Lion, which fortunately for us, was showing the Ryder Cup. Then a lazy stroll back. This walk in particular was met with a very busy A40, which I would not recommend for children or dogs. There are plenty of other walks to take, so don't let this put you off!
I have been on many campsites, this by far is my favourite. We without doubt will be back and will definitely be recommending to our friends, family and anyone else who cares to wonder. Thank you for a lovely time.
A fabulous start to our Welsh trip!

Motorhome - Gravel Pitches (No Awnings) May 2023
Wonderful site, quiet with very clean shower rooms. Well stocked shop. Staff were fantastic. We had a slight problem with our freezer and they bent over backwards to help us. Nothing was too much trouble and they were full of great information.
Would definitely return and would definitely recommend anyone wanting a great site with great staff.
