About Cardinney Caravan and Camping Park
This is a quiet, adult-only family-run camping and touring site, located in scenic countryside. Cardinney is five miles west of Penzance and 5 miles east of Land's End. It's set back off the main A30 trunk road and accessed via a private lane. Just under five acres, the park has been thoughtfully landscaped with trees, flowerbeds and shrubs. There is one field, providing individually marked spacious, well-cut grass pitches with hedges giving shelter and privacy. For touring, choose a range of spacious serviced grass pitches of 64sq metres on average, all individually marked out, 50 with a 10-Amp hook-up point and individual water tap. There is an enclosed dog exercise area, so even your four-legged friends can have a great time. A selection of hardstanding serviced pitches are available too.
Cardinney Caravan and Camping Park is open from 23/03 to 31/10.

A truly wonderful campsite with all the amenities you'd expect, all kept clean and quite frankly look brand new. Fab location and bargain price. Will definitely be returning again!

Could have had a gravel path to and from the tent as when we first parked up to take things into the tent, our van nearly got stuck. Also, water for washing up was only warm. Showers and toilets were clean and the showers were hot.

Absolutely lovely park, we really enjoyed the stay. The dog park was lovely, hedging round each pitch is brilliant, especially with the 30mph wind and rain we got. The dish washing facilities make life so easy and the washing machine was a life saver - so, so handy! My only slight let down was the shower either had little pressure or the shower heads are slightly angled wrong. I'm not sure, but you have to stand standing so close to the shower, it makes it difficult to wash. Wouldn't stop me coming back.

Things to do on site and in the Penzance area
Being just outside of Penzance, in beautiful Cornwall, you'll never be short of things to do. The beaches around here are to die for: Sennen Cove, Porthcurno, Carbis Bay and Mousehole to name but a few. It's a surfer's paradise.
You're only a 10 minute drive from Land's End and the South West Coast Path, and it's not much further to The Minack Theatre.
Then there are the pretty Cornish towns to explore. Penzance is just a few minutes away, but not much further on you'll find St Ives and Marazion with its stunning views out to St Michael's Mount.
The Lizard Peninsula and Kynance Cove are an hour's drive to the east, but well worth the day trip with some of the UK's most breathtaking views on offer.
Another day trip not to miss is to the Isles of Scilly. You can catch a ferry from Penzance, or even fly from Land's End.
