This is a back to nature pop-up site, spread across 50 acres of grassland and charming woodland. 500 yards of lake frontage add to the gorgeous views and make for some amazing sunsets. There are 30 grass pitches for tents only, set in a beautiful field surrounded by nature. Just opposite the campsite is an interesting English Heritage museum based at a wooden bobbin mill. Also in easy reach down the road is a YMCA camping base where you'll be able to book and enjoy outdoorsy activities and team building exercises. Up to two dogs are allowed per pitch and with this being an idyllic countryside retreat, it's the perfect chase for you and your four-legged pals. Fire pits are allowed in the provided fire pits, as long as they stay raised off the ground.
The site is open for Easter, May bank holidays and from 26th May to 31st August.

Just a stones throw away is the Lake Windermere ferry, allowing you to glide across the lake and reach beautiful Windermere village with parks, shops, restaurants, activities such as boat hire and tours etc. It's the ideal start to a day of exploring.
