Reforge Retreat is a green and tranquil 20-acre site with woods, lakes and meadows where campfires are allowed. This friendly retreat offers variety of bell tents, an off grid cabin and a 70s cabin with private facilities. Fully licensed site bar, the Reforge Inn, too. Just a 20-30 minute drive to Dartmoor National Park and the north coast, including Bude, Bideford and Westward Ho!

This is a space that is quirky and unique - not your usual run of the mill site. The setting is a tranquil medieval farmstead, where a settlement has been for over a thousand years. This place is steeped in history for you to explore, along with charming wildlife for you to meet. The site caters to couples and families and offers a variety of settings here including, lakes, woods, a stream, a ravine and luscious meadows. Campervans, tents and caravans are welcome on cosy grass pitches if you have your own facilities. For glampers, there's the choice of stylish and vibrant bell tents, which include everything you might need. The orchard bell tent sleeps up to four and has its own fire pit and picnic bench, while the meadow can be booked with either one or two bell tents sleeping up to a maximum of 8 people, with firepits and picnic benches. The lakeside bell tent is for a maximum of four but children must be supervised at all times. For something off grid, the Brook Hut is perfect for couples. Tucked away in the woodlands this cosy glamping cabin is next to a stream and is equipped with a double bed, a compostable toilet and battery for lamps. There is an outside area with table and chairs and a fire pit and BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining in the evenings. There is no running water at the cabin so fill up at the main site. Tucked away by the lake the Hideaway is perfect for couples with a double bed and outside seating area and BBQ. For ultimate luxury Xanadu is an artisan handcrafted glamping pod sitting above a lake, with a private bridge entrance. This unique pod has an open-plan living area, bedroom with a king size bed, kitchen , and a hexagonal bathroom. There is also an outside decking area.
The site is open all year round and the Xanadu is available from April to December.

There's plenty of fun to be had at the site, which hosts games nights occasionally and gets everyone involved. There is the occasional Shakespeare play and outdoor theatre. There's a recreation room with ping pong and table football.
Woodland walks and nature rambles here are beautiful, as you're surrounded by the Devon countryside.
There is a tempting cycle path half a mile away from the site which will help you explore the county.
Bude and the North Cornish Coast is 20 minutes away.
Dartmoor and the train from Okehampton is also half an hour away.
