A back-to-nature camping and glamping site with views of the Welsh mountains and located in a designated dark sky area. The land surrounding the Hafod Hall Camping Club consists of 650 acres of beautiful unspoiled terrain. With its boundary is a large area of woodland, a nature reserve and the Alwen Reservoir.

Onsite there are two basic facility blocks with toilets open 24/7 with hand sanitiser both inside and outside. During the winter and adverse weather, the owners cannot guarantee that the shower block will be available. However, toilets are available for use in the main house.
An easily accessible tap provides drinking water from the site's own source. There is no mobile phone signal as the site is so high up. A note from the site themselves...
Hafod Hall Camping Club started out in 2016 with just a few people coming together to do what they love. We are a family owned business that is open all year. Little did we know that it would grow into the thriving Camping Club it is today. The land surrounding the property consists of 650 acres of beautiful unspoiled terrain.
With its boundary is a large area of woodland, a nature reserve and the Alwen Reservoir. Anyone staying at Hafod Hall can unwind in this remote and peaceful place. You can relax amongst the spectacular views of the Welsh mountains or recline under the nights clear sky, watching the stars (this area is a designated dark sky area).
Throughout the grounds there are many areas in which to pitch your tent. You can choose your perfect spot, all with their own unique view. On average, pitches are 10m x 8m. No electric.
2 x Wild Campervan Pitch
Max 3 people
Non electric campervan pitch set in the wild. Perfect for unwinding and taking in the views.
Last minute booking made super easy, we only had one night there but were made to feel super welcome. The wild pitches are not your usual camping site but nestled between trees and rocks on a steepish hill. That means you’re pretty much guaranteed some privacy and places for children to explore.
We had a great time there and my daughter says it’s the “best campsite ever”. We were there on a long planned and repeatedly weather delayed “daddy and daughter adventure” in Snowdonia and it set the tone perfectly - feel really lucky to have found it!
