A note from the site themselves...
We have lived at Ty Uchaf Farm / Fferm Ty Uchaf since 2005, and love the history, landscape and abundant nature of this special place.
We wanted to share our little slice of heaven with others, so in 2022 we created a small, off-grid and sustainable glamping site to enable visitors to enjoy comfortable accommodation but with that essential "back to nature" glamping experience.
Our aim was to stay small and secluded and to blend the accommodation in with the landscape. We hope you agree. We think we know what makes a good break, and will help in ways big and small to make sure you want to come back soon.

We had amazing 2 night stay in the pod. Pod was clean and had everything which you would need during your stay.
Our kids enjoyed a lot while picking up eggs, feeding sheep and finding hidden stones and completing the word. We loved cooking in outdoor kitchen and BBQ pits are just perfect if you want to enjoy your evening with a BBQ and an amazing sunset view.
Robin is a great host and he knows how to keep kids happy and busy.

Pod - Ty Coed Glamping PodApr 2024
It was one of the best glamping experiences ever. The location and pods were amazing and peaceful and made you feel very close to nature.
The place has almost all the useful services. The BBQ and fireplace stuff is nicely built close to the pods. The field kitchen is a great addition to enjoy outdoor cooking with gas hobs. The kids specifically enjoyed feeding chickens and picking eggs along with feeding sheep.
Robin is a great host and it's a very welcoming environment. We really appreciate that he offered us free eggs from the field chickens during our entire stay and even engaged our kids with feeding animals all three days. Great place to stay with kids.
Lots of amazing attractions nearby, thanks to Robin who guided us through these spots, so were able to make the most of them.

Tipi or Wigwam - Ty Mynydd TipiAug 2023
We have just come back from a wonderful stay in the tipi.
Our host Robin was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. He kept the kids entertained with scavenger hunts, feeding the farm animals and letting them collect their own eggs in the morning for breakfast. Always on hand to offer advice with local things to do as well as things further a field.
The tipi was lovely, spacious, clean and had everything we needed. With 2 adults and 3 kids (12yr , 8yr and 11 months) there was also plenty of room to pop up a travel cot..
Being able to BBQ and light the fire pit every night was some of the highlights as the weather was on our side. We could also star gaze, but even if it hadn't been, there was a great roofed field kitchen that we would use in the morning for boiling hot water and making breakfast. It had 2 gas burners, which we could have made our evening meals on if we needed too.
The local butchers which Robin recommended had some of the best burgers and sausages we have tasted. Highly recommend the Welsh dragon sausages if you don't mind a bit of spice. As a family we do enjoy walking and Robin recommended climbing Moel Famau and Hope Mountain. Both had spectacular views.
This was our first ever stay here but certainly won't be our last. Highly recommend to everyone.
