Jean's Field is a family run, pop-up site ideally placed in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, ten minutes from Skipton. Pitch up your tent on one of the non electric grass pitches and explore the National Park's views or the the excellent pub, great café and farm shop close by. It's a short walk to Rylstone, home of the famous Calendar Girls, and local Grassington will be familiar to many as Darrowby in Channel 5's All Creatures Great and Small.

This relaxed site is set in a field of almost an acre, within the attractive village of Cracoe. Set in the stunning Yorkshire Dales, you will be surrounded by glorious walking and cycling country, with Grassington and Skipton both within a ten minute drive. There are just 18 grass pitches without electric onsite so it is never too busy. 15 of these are measure at 10m x 10m, which includes space for one parked car and are perfect for tents and trailer tents. There are also 3 backpacker pitches onsite for tents only, perfect for those arriving without a vehicle. Picturesque Wharfedale is an easy five minute drive or bike ride away with a chance to see the gorgeous Dales village of Burnsall and the majestic Bolton Abbey. For walkers, the Way of the Roses is a very popular option, or Malham National Park Visitor Centre is only 20 minutes away. Access is easy as the campsite is just off a main route into the Dales, so no need to take on miles of twisty lanes. It's set back too, giving you separation from the road. Be sure to also visit the local farm shop and pick up some fresh ingredients. Raised BBQs and enclosed campfires are permitted, so there is no better excuse to cook up a delicious feast! Dogs are also welcome to join you for your stay. Please note, there are no shower facilities onsite.

Get into your stride with a well known circular walking route along Rylstone Edges, which can easily be joined from the site. It takes in glorious views and will bring you up over 500 metres, so it's a great way to acquaint yourself with the area. Check-in with the owner for full info on the route.
For delicious eateries and shops, Skipton is a ten minute drive away. Head to Skipton Boat Trips for a gentle cruise along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal or visit the famous Skipton Castle for a medieval adventure.
