Located in the North York Moors National Park, Carriage House Glamping Pods offers a peaceful glamping stay, ten minutes from Scarborough. Each of the two modern glamping pods comes with everything you will need for a comfortable stay, including a modern ensuite, smart TV, comfy double bed, kitchenette and toiletries. An outdoor decking also provides top views of the Sea Cut River and valley. Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby are within 30 minutes too!

About Carriage House Glamping Pods

Nestled in the glorious North York Moors, the site is perfectly located for days exploring the countryside or the coast. Within a ten minute drive of Scarborough and its popular beach, you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to days out. The site is home to just two luxury glamping pods, each sleeping up to two guests with a comfy double bed and linen. Ideal for holidays all year round, the pods also come with heating and electric to keep you nice and cosy. For all of your cooking needs, there is an equipped kitchen kitted out with a fridge, kettle, tea/coffee maker, microwave, stove and kitchenware. You will also have a comfy sofa and smart TV, great for unwinding after a day of adventure. Each also includes a modern ensuite with a loo, shower, hand basin, towels and even complimentary toiletries. Step outside and you will find a private decked area with views of the Sea Cut River (Scalby Beck) and valley. Seating is provided so you can enjoy a spot of al fresco dining too. You will also have access to bike storage sheds, ideal for keen cyclists. If travelling as a family, you can also book out both of the pods so you have the whole site to yourselves! Please note, the site is dog free.

Carriage House Glamping Pods is open from 01/04 to 31/12.

The nearest shop is Londis, a ten minute drive away. Within a ten minute drive there are also multiple pubs including The Plough and The Ship.

If you want a fun filled day out, a trip to North Yorkshire Water Park (10 minutes) is perfect. Take on the 'Total Wipeout' style course, or simply enjoy a spot of kayaking or paddle boarding.

To see the national park in style, take a ride on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (25 minutes). The heritage railway guides you through scenic valleys, with the option of luxury dining experiences onboard too!
