Excellent park - spotlessly clean with great facilities. Big enough to have a pool & evening entertainment but small enough to feel relaxed & friendly. Surrounded by fields. We particularly liked the real live music of an evening. Will definitely be back & have recommended to others.

The pool was a nice and the bar for drinks was good. The facilities could be good but other guests really don't look after them, like cleaning out the shower when done. The biggest fault for us was the loud music/ live bands every night till 11pm. I have no issue with Friday and Saturday nights, but every night is a bit much in my opinion!

This was our first time stopping at Calloose and it did not disappoint! The campsite was fantastic in all areas. The facilities where very modern and always very clean. Showers were always hot and they had a handy family washroom, which was great for families with smaller children to shower and wash. The onsite amenities were great. The children's park was fantastic and onsite bar was perfect. There was entertainment every night ranging from singers to karaoke, and it was always a great atmosphere. There was also a games rooms onsite for the children to enjoy. The swimming pool was plenty big enough, with a small toddler pool for smaller children and surrounding decking area was clean and modern. Our tent pitch was a good size and housed our large bell tent perfectly. Warren, the site owner, was very helpful and always about from dawn till site shut down at 11pm (or thereabouts). We will definitely be returning in future years to this site as we thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you.

Booked this site for our first week in a touring caravan and chose it for the location and facilities and it didn't disappoint! There is a lovely pool area with loungers, a great little bar and restaurant with good food and a great selection of drinks, entertainment every night, bingo 4 times a week (which went down a treat), a children's play area and a little shop with the essentials. The facilities, like showers, were always kept as clean as possible, not withstanding some visitors who spoil it with their behaviour and children putting loo rolls down the toilets and in the urinals. Such a shame. Otherwise, this is a very clean park with staff trying their very best. The location was ideal for local attractions and great beaches with Hayle Beach just 15 mins down the road. The staff were always friendly and a massive should out to the owner, Warren, who helped me with a hot and fizzing battery at 11:30! He's not hard to spot around the park as he literally does not stop! The grounds are well kept and we had a lovely hard standing pitch which was fully serviced and close to the bar and entertainment. Although the entertainment is quite loud it stops around 10:30pm and then it's lovely and quiet, there was no rowdiness at all just people enjoying themselves during the entertainment. If you've got kids this is a great park, the pool was fantastic and our kids had lots of use out of it. I'd thoroughly recommend this to families with young kids, loads for them to do and it's nice and safe.

Very clean site with good toilet / shower block and lovely warm swimming pool. Good bar with nice beers and friendly staff. Great if you've got young kids as the playground is right near the bar. If you do not have young kids, then you have to put up with them being noisy until the music finishes around 10.30pm. While the bar was great, they had outside speakers on from 2pm until 10:30pm, so if you wanted a quiet day or night to have family time to watch a DVD or read, you can forget it as the noise from the speakers was constant until 10:30. I think they need to switch the outside speakers off in the evening as most people were in the bar, especially when the music / band / karaoke was on in the marquee. Very frustrating if you need an early night or if the kids wanted to get to sleep. Site feels like it wants to be a Haven type site but is not big enough which is a shame. They have started to do recycling, but the bins are at the end of the drive so you have to take them with you when you go out. Needs more than a glass bin around the site because most campers will put it all in the general waste bins. Also, it seemed that there was security at night as there were often lads hanging around the toilet / shower block area at night which meant my daughter would not go in them on her own and is a teenager. Site is a little too far away from anywhere for us as it meant we were out in the car all the time. Don't think we will visit again. Shame as it could be an amazing site.

For our first family camping holiday in Cornwall, we could not fault it! Good value for money, plenty of onsite entertainment for the children, nice onsite food options and the staff were friendly and helpful! Would highly recommend and we will be back again next year!!
