A lovely family friendly site

We had a lovely stay at Higher Trevaskis caravan and camping site. The owners were lovely and very accommodating! The site itself is very peaceful, tidy and the amenities are spotless. The pitch we were allocated was right opposite the play area, which was fantastic for us as our children could go and play and were in sight at all times from our pitch, without us having to stand there for hours. We could visit places around Cornwall without having to spend hours driving and the beach was only a 5 minute drive away.

Perfect camping experience

We stayed here for our 1st family camping trip and I could not fault it. We don't have anything to compare to but the cleanliness, facilities and the staff were above our expectations. The toilets and showers were so clean it felt like home. The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly and generally was sad to say goodbye but we can't wait to visit again!

Friendly site

Very clean site with friendly staff and other residents. The manager welcomed us and knew how long we were staying without checking his book. He was visible around the site daily but not invasive. The showers were old but the best we have ever used. 6 acre site but you were in small enclosures so it felt small.

Nice location

Nice site, easy access off A30. Quiet, would benefit from another shower/toilet block as it's a large site and a bit of a walk from perimeter.

Thank you for your lovely review! We are only a maximum 6 acre site with enough toilets and showers to accommodate when we are at maximum capacity, which are situated in the middle. There is plenty of parking should you find the distance too far for walking. We recommend any requirements needed to be advised at time of booking, we can then try to accommodate. We are competitively priced within our popular location.

Fabulous site

Super site with lovely hosts. Everything has been thought of at this site and it ticked all the boxes. Our pitch was lovely and the whole site was lovely and quiet. Brilliant idea for the dog wash station 😀

Very nice site! Lovely, quiet and well maintained

A lovely site, a bit off the beaten track so nice and quiet. Lots of pitches, and all very well maintained. The shower/toilet blocks are great and kept really clean and the owner Dan was really nice - very helpful. Lovely farm shop/restaurant just up the road, and the site is within easy reach of a local Spar and even a caravan supplies shop. Also a Brewer's Fayre restaurant and McDonalds within easy reach. Unfortunately the "serviced" pitches are not fully serviced - they do not include own water/wastewater connections - that was my only gripe, but perhaps that was my mistake for thinking serviced meant fully serviced. Would definitely visit again though.

Lovely site

We were in a 8m motorhome, not a caravan so pitched in one of the very few hardstanding ones, but had a lovely stay. Only gripe- shower block was really cold. Nice big family bathroom and dog wash which was warm water, our dogs really appreciated that!

We enjoyed our visit to Trevaskis despite the awful weather while we were there.

Great, clean and quiet park

A little out in the wilds but a great site, very quiet and the best showers and Wifi we have experienced across Ireland and England.

Wonderful time in Cornwall

Lovely quiet location. Greeted on arrival and well looked after by the owners. Clean, good facilities. Going on my experience, highly recommended.

Nice clean site

Nice clean and tidy site, we didn't use the facilities but they were clean. We asked for a pitch in one of the enclosed pitches and that was listened to and given. There are 3 pitches to the enclosure, we were asked to leave promptly at 10:30 as someone was coming into our pitch. A little strange as there was one other pitch free and access is from 11 am.. someone checked just before 10:30 so we felt a little rushed. The other niggle was reception is only open in the morning... arriving in the afternoon... we had to wait until the next morning to get the WiFi code. However, it was lovely and quiet and nicely kept.

Here's our reply; Upon arrival you would have been given a leaflet with site information which includes our telephone numbers- we are more than happy for you to call should you need any further info, alternatively there is an internal telephone outside our shop which can be used. We live on-site hence why we aren't sat in reception 24/7, so more than happy to be contacted from home. Our arrival time is 11 am with departure at 10.30 am- this allows for the pitch to be mowed and made ready for the next customer. Although other pitches within that particular enclosure were free, we were expecting a customer who had specifically asked for the pitch you were vacating as it's very popular. Sorry that you felt rushed, we like to make sure each pitch is readily available for the 11 am arrival time. We do hope you will consider visiting us again in the future.

Great friendly site

This is a great family-run site with nice size pitches and clean facilities. The owners couldn't be nicer or more helpful, definitely recommend.

Lovely break

The campsite was very good, we got exactly what we asked for - to be near the shower facility. They were lovely and clean and the staff were brilliant. It was also nice that the site allows pets with no extra charge and they had a dog shower, which was a good idea. Lovely little campsite.
