Quiet place, easy to reach and in a very good location. The facilities are simple but sufficient and clean. There's even a basket with several games and goodies to eat in case you need some.

Lovely campsite, Portaloos and wash basin tidy and clean, not much more you could ask for really with camping. A lovely little touch was having a snack basket which you make a donation for the items, I thought that was lovely :) The only reason I gave a 4 stars for location as I think a bigger bolder sign is needed to advise it's the campsite, as we drove past it a few times before realizing it was where we needed to go, ha! Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Price adequate to the conditions. The toilets were clean but only one shower! Great for short term. We went with 5 people but we were unlucky because we had nonstop rain so the problem was where to wash and dry clothes. If you're going with kids there might be better places.

A lovely spot to stay - the fields are great and just far enough away from quite a busy road. Village pub sells good beers and good food. Nice spot.

We were supposed to be at a festival but were still wary with Covid - we booked Trevena Cross as a complete unknown and we couldn't have been happier. The owners were so friendly and we were pitched in a gorgeous corner of Cornwall. There was a fantastic beer festival going on in the local pub and we were lucky and blessed with beautiful sunshine. Showers and loos were immaculate and recycling facilities prioritised - we will be coming back.

We stayed at Trevena in August and it was exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of space, perfect location for everything available in the immediate area but also for wider Cornwall. Accommodated my Renault Master LWB easily with good access and flat pitches. Nice and quiet at night. The owners were friendly and knowledgeable. The facilities are perfect for a pop up and were kept exceptionally clean and in full working order. We had a brilliant time and I couldn't fault it at all, wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We had 9 days, between son's commitments further north, for a rare holiday & wanted to pitch up as far into Cornwall as possible for as long as possible in that time. Trevena Cross is easily found on the A394 between Helston & Penzance. Lovely green, open site. 4 hedged fields, giving lots of space but sense of containment at same time. Coast/sea is very close too. For basic camping, having hot showers & cleaned toilets is a luxury and the washing up & recycling facilities are a bonus too. Due to sudden & serious repairs needed for my T4, we relied on buses to get around. Buses were frequent & bus-stops are conveniently just outside the campsite, making Trevena Cross great for those who don't have own transport. I'm also very grateful to Caroline & her team for the practical help & genuine care shown in our particular circumstances. We needed frequent charging of phones/equipment & local help - what might have been a grim experience with my van needing immediate repairs /taking some days for the work, it was actually still a nice break for us. The hosts' friendliness and accessibility is a big part of what makes Trevena Cross a special place to stay... they check in with everybody at least once a day and are very approachable for everyone. Pitch-fees seemed very reasonable and we'd definitely head there again for staying in West Cornwall.

We had a very good experience in this campsite which I certainly recommend to people who love to be in nature. it's very close to the beach and there's a big store around the area. I would definitely come back to this campsite.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay here. The family that manage the site are great and kept altering things to meet the needs onsite. For instance whilst we were there another tap was installed. There was a small issue with the emptying of the loos but apologies were made and we were kept informed. Kids loved having so much space to run and explore and the site felt very safe. It was a great base to explore Cornwall. Highly recommend

Great campsite and although newly opened, everything was perfect. Quiet location but really near to beaches. I love that you could pitch where you wanted, and that well behaved dogs are welcome on leads. The toilet and shower facilities are super clean. Definitely will be back.

We stayed July/Aug 2021 in our campervan and really enjoyed our time on this site, as did our Westie. We were greeted by the owners who were very friendly and informative. It is the ideal location for exploring all of Cornwall, north and south coast, and lots of walks and beaches never very far away. The highlight for us was a walk around Lizard point (10 min drive away) and a cream tea on the cliff top watching the seals in the sea. After a long day exploring, the on site hot shower and local pub (5 min walk) were all we needed, before a peaceful nights sleep. We would recommend this site and will return.
