About Penbugle Organic Farm Wigwams
The farm produces organic free range eggs for one of the leading supermarkets as well as supplying local specialist shops around Cornwall. It's a calm, animal-loving haven for campers west of Plymouth. Within a modest drive you'll find the famous Eden Project (just half an hour away), but also the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the historic Bodmin Jail, Charles Town and lots more areas featured in the TV hit Poldark. Glamping is totally car-free, so you can relax, soak up the quiet and get away from it all. A handy car park is only a few yards away. Penbugle is also set along a privately owned tarmacked lane, offering an ideal base for couples, families, creatives, cyclists and walkers. For those wanting a bit of luxury, the Big Chief Wigwam camping pods are solid structures that greatly increase the comfort of camping by offering cosy shelter, mattresses and electric sockets. Each has its own, private facilities - so no need to share. These sleep 4-5 and dogs are welcome too. Inside there's a mini kitchen area with kettle, toaster and fridge while outside there's a firepit and picnic area. There is one dog free wigwam, the Mouse Hole, for those not bringing any four legged friends.

Facilities include communal toilets and showers, a communal cookhouse and a pottery/craft room.
The nearest pubs are The Plough, Duloe and The Highwayman, Dobwalls. Nearby Liskeard has takeaway restaurants and a supermarket. You'll find a wide selection of cafes, restaurants and pubs and food shops in Looe - or you might try the independent shops at Polperro.

Things to do on site and in the Liskeard area
There is a pottery/craft barn for those who feel creative to relax and create something beautiful.
There are cows and friendly farm animals all around the site, which children love.
The site has very little light pollution, allowing you to escape the hustle and bustle of modern living, and giving you a chance to gaze at the stars and night sky.
Looe is only 10 minutes from the site so don't miss St Catherine's 16th century castle, or the lovely beach at Talland Bay. Make a stop, also, at Duloe stone circle to see the ancient stones and learn about their history.
An easy drive will take you to Lostwithiel and Restormel Castle, and Fowey, which will interest fans of Daphne Du Maurier, as she wrote many books there.
