A fun interactive farmsite, Daisy Mays Farm is a family friendly campsite surrounded by peaceful countryside. There are non electric grass pitches for trailer tents, regular tents and tourers, with plenty of space for all to feel comfortable. Kids will love the onsite playground as well as the chance to pet and feed pygmy goats and collect eggs from the hens!

Like many reviewers, it's worth acknowledging that the camping facilities are basic, but that is clearly advertised and they were actually better than I expected. One shower and two toilets between all campers had me worried but we didn't have any issues and they were nice and close to the campsites, and as clean as you expect. Shower was hot and pressure was fine. There were plenty of drinking water points and sinks. Pitches themselves are pick your own and when we turned up it was busy, but we found a spot easily enough. Noise from nearby airport was minimal, to the point I forgot we were so close. The real draw of this site is access to the farm facilities and, for kids, they are great. My daughter didn't stop! From bottle feeding goats, holding chicks, hand feeding sheep, playing in the parks and sand/water areas, as well as making loads of friends with other guests. Not sure how she kept going as I was flagging! Staff were all really friendly and helpful. We were able to get our freezer blocks frozen as well which was helpful. Cannot fault the value of this place at all. It was non-stop fun for my 4 year old daughter who can't wait to return.

This is our go to campsite. My son loves it. The animals are great. Pitches are pick your own. Location is good. It's a pop up site so facilities are basic, but we love it

Super site, would absolutely come back my children loved the farm and feeding the kid goats. They were so excited to be camping so close to the sheep too 😊

We had a great time camping at Daisy Mays Farm. The farm is fab for the children with lots of things to do. The campsite has very clean toilets/a shower, with plenty of toilet roll and hand soap. There is access to drinking water and washing up facilities too. It's very good value for money with entrance to the farm included in the pitch fee. This was the first time my boys (age 4 and 1) had been camping and they can't wait to go again!

This was a great place to camp for a few days. My only gripe was that the site warden was too busy talking on her phone to keep an eye on the portaloos that needed tending to. Apart from that, the rest of the staff on the farm were friendly, approachable and accommodating. There was fresh running water, the shower was great, they refreezed ice packs and the portaloos were tolerable - just needed tending to a bit more often. We loved not having large crowds of campers in our face, lots of space and quiet time. The kids could roam free to see the animals. I didn't realise the camp was on the Stansted flight path. However, we got used to this, so it wasn't an issue - just amusing. Plus, the planes stop overnight, so no problems.

It was the perfect place to take my son on our first camping trip. Very polite staff, being around all the animals and we got pretty much left alone to just enjoy ourselves. It's a lovely little setup 👍

I decided during the summer holiday to take myself and my 3 children off technology and onto a campsite for our first ever tenting experience. Daisy Mays Farm was the ideal spot, surrounded by woodland and sheep/horses pens. My children had the best camping night with the farm's help of something to do and not become bored. The farm itself was perfect, with baby goats to feed and holding the baby chicks, exploring the woods for stamps and even a little play area. There were many toilets and wash stations to keep them clean and tidy. We enjoyed our stay here and would return again.

Had a great stay. Local pub and golf club all in walking distance, wasn't disturbed by anyone. Very relaxing, told friends about it and they stayed and loved it too.

Staff were all friendly and helpful. We were given a choice of non-electric pitches, all of which were surrounded by trees and grassy and very pleasant. The facilities were very well maintained and equipped with toilet paper, anti-bac soap and a notice with contact number if supplies ran out. However. the facilities were quite a walk from where we pitched. The only downside, and sadly it was a big negative, was the proximity to Stansted airport. The planes landing and taking off in the night meant I only got 90 minutes sleep during non-operational times. Sadly this is beyond the power of the farm to do anything about it, and I wouldn't want it to stop you going as it's a lovely volunteer run place, but do go prepared with ear plugs!
