The spacious tent only site is ideal for those looking for a back-to-basics getaway where they can enjoy some childhood-like fun. Enjoy onsite activities such as archery, air rifle shooting and axe throwing, and end the day unwinding by the communal campfire.

About Field 51 Campsite
This family-run campsite on the outskirts of St Albans is ideal for those looking to get back to basics and embrace the outdoors. Guest can also get involved with the various onsite activities including archery, air rifle shooting, axe throwing, archery tag and children's crossbows. Tent campers can pitch up on one of the 30 non-electric grass pitches across the site's well-manicured grounds. The pitches are also separated into an adult and family-only section so you can pitch up next to like-minded campers. Guests also have access to communal fire pits, perfect for toasting marshmallows and making friends with other campers (firewood available at a small cost). The site is also within 20 minutes of Harry Potter Studios and transport links into London, perfect for days out. Four-legged friends are also welcome onsite!
The site will be open for 28 days between April and September.
Site facilities include toilets and communal fire pits. Please note that the site does not have showers.
The nearest shop is Twinsco and the closest pub is The Overdraught, both a five minute drive away.

Site rules and policies
No amplified speakers above 10w.
Check-in is after 12pm.
Checkout is before 11am.
No cutting trees and burning on fires.
All BBQs must be raised and no fires allowed within BBQs afterwards.
All rubbish to be taken back with you, please bring bin liners.
Things to do on site and in the St Albans area
With all of the onsite activities, you can stay entertained without having to leave the site. Choose from archery, air rifle shooting, axe/knife throwing, archery tag and children's crossbow shooting.
For a great day of fun, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London with the Harry Potter film set is just 20 minutes away. See the amazing props in real life, have a try of Butter Beer and take a walk through Diagon Alley and The Great Hall.
