Motorhome - Electric Grass PitchesMay 2024
Wonderful stay. Really helpful owners, nothing too much trouble. Farm shop and tea room opposite campsite do amazing home made food and the staff in there are lovely. The farm shop sells all local produce and a great gf selection too. Pub is walking distance but only opens Friday and Saturdays generally. Farm shop hires fire pits etc. One toilet and one shower on field but we didn’t use facilities as we have own own. Beautiful village and ideal lanes for cycling as it’s quiet. Due to the rain we had, the field was muddy but when a van got stuck, the farmer came with his tractor and towed out - again all part of the friendly service.
We would def recommend and will go back.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass PitchesMar 2024
A lovely site with really kind, friendly and helpful staff.
There are some nice walks around the village of Catthorpe, for example, walks to the remains of Motte & Bailey castle at Lilbourne and a second castle mound just outside Lilbourne.
The site has a farm shop, café, etc and the Cherry Tree pub in the village is brilliant (good food, beer and atmosphere).
We will return!
