Super site

We stopped for one night only. Lovely, well kept site. There are only a few non electric pitches that are very close to the Safari Tents. I would recommend paying the additional £4 and booking a pitch with hook-up to avoid being over looked by the safari terraces. The pitches could be a little more spacious in my opinion. However - the site is beautifully kept, facilities were immaculate, so clean. Close to some nice walks, recommend the cycle path in to Aberfoyle. On site shop for those forgotten items and ice-creams and a coffee shop. All very, very good.

Wonderful

Ein wunderbarer Campingplatz, so wie man es möchte, Natur, am Fluss, wunderbar für Hundeliebhaber, weil es tolle Wanderwege gibt. Man kann am Fluss fischen und Kinder haben hier ihr eigene Zeit mit Standup Paddeln, toben und Spielplätzen. Rundum ein gelungener, sauberer, freundlicher Campingplatz

Gem of a campsite

A gem of a campsite situated by the side of a river in the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park just outside Aberfoyle. A very friendly welcome at reception and very helpful, pointed out all the local walks and places of interest. lovely walks along the river and the disused railway track to Aberfoyle. Amenities were second to none, plenty of showers, toilets, laundry on site with freezer, iron etc.. small shop with basic necessities and a coffee kiosk serving breakfast and bacon, steak and egg baps until 2pm. Great location for touring, close to Loch Lomond and Loch Katrine and also Callendar. thoroughly enjoyed our stay. would highly recommend. A five star campsite in my view.

A very pleasant stay

First time on the site and we were very happy with all the facilities and helpful staff. Particularly enjoyed the coffee hut with outdoor seating and the visit from the pizza van!

Definitely go back

First time staying at this site, would definitely go back. We had a roof top tent so couldn't travel far as didn't want to pack everything up so used the cycle track and walked into aberfoyle for lunch and back. Site if dog friendly and family friendly, having the park there was great as our kid enjoyed it and got to make new friends during our stay. Staff were all lovely and so helpful. My only comment would be maybe get an ice machine or something hooked up for the summer months as we were very lucky with the weather

Nice stay

Cobleland Campsite, located close to the stunning Loch Lomond, offers a fantastic camping experience with several key highlights: Proximity to Loch Lomond provides breath-taking views and easy access to outdoor activities. Friendly and knowledgeable staff enhance the stay with excellent service and local information. Spotless communal bathrooms and showers, showing a high standard of hygiene. Fresh water availability and grey water drains make campsite management easy. Provides power for charging devices and running small appliances. Overall, Cobleland Campsite is highly recommended for its beautiful location, excellent facilities, and outstanding service.

Really lovely site

Only stayed one night, but will definitely look to come back. Good facilities set in a lovely location and had a great bacon roll and latte from the the on-sight coffee trailer.

Lovely wee stay

A great place to stay. Plenty of facilities, spotlessly clean and a well maintained campsite.

Stunning campsite

Fell in love with this place. Stunning views and great facilities, which included a barista coffee and cake van, breakfast snack bar and on Saturday night, a wood fired pizza van. The camping pitches are spotlessly clean, as were the showers and toilets. Easy access to beautiful woodland walks alongside a gorgeous river, which was great for swimming and paddle boarding. Couldn't fault the place - we will definitely be back.

Perfect site

I don't normally write reviews, but this site was lovely. Clean facilities were close to most pitches. We went for some r&r which is what we got. Oliver was very nice, helpful and informative. Will definitely use this site again.

Great

It was our 2nd stay. We took our grandkids this time and weren't disappointed. Kids played, it's so safe and nice and quiet after 10 so the youngster at 3 slept great. Oldest is 8, he had a fab time playing with the kids who were staying at the park.

Excellent campsite with brilliant facilities.

Excellent campsite from check-in to check-out. A friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable host - pointed out nearby pubs for the evening. Great, clean facilities with a nice little shop for everyday essentials. Highly recommended. Thanks.

Another great stay at Cobleland

This was my second stay, I stayed in 2023 too and since then, there have been some added amenities. There is a new additional toilet and shower block that is beautifully decorated and clean. There is also a food and coffee van called Coull beans. It sells breakfast rolls, coffee and traybakes. It has a lovely seating area outside too. The site was immaculately kept and, as normal, the owner was very helpful. I was sad to leave, if I could have stayed longer, I would have. 100% recommend 👌

Great campsite in the Queen Elizabeth Forest

Nicely situated for plenty of activities locally. In beautiful woodland with great walking or bike paths. Immaculate and plentiful facilities, although I'd have liked a seat in the shower. Some of the roads need a pothole or two filled in, but it's been a rough winter so not complaining. Staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely peaceful site surrounded by nature

Fantastic site. Lovely setting in the country. Showers are fab. Only thing I would say is it wouldn’t suit someone disabled if they need to use the toilets or showers as it’s up a hill.

We do have accessible facilities on the lower level which are accessible via a low gradient concrete ramp. They consist of a WC & shower, with chair. Site is great and clean. Friendly staff were great. Loved the pizza van and fresh coffee in the morning, definitely going back with grandkids.

Great place, lovely walks right by camp

Great campsite amazing walks and lovely river side location. Strong 4g signal at site. Coffee wagon open each day and a pizza van on a Saturday. Local shop 5 mins away driving.

Our stay

What a lovely little park. Amenities are spotless. The lady in the shop was so lovely and there was a little take-out next to the shop. The pizza van was amazing. We will definitely be back 💙💜🐾🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Excellent facilities, friendly and attentive staff, good little shop. Beautiful area with fabulous walks and bike rides. Would recommend.

A lovely peaceful place

I'd definitely recommend this site. The service was amazing and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. The location was easy to find and the view over the river in the morning was delightful.

Great location

Great location with a lot of vision for the future camper. It is great to stay somewhere that seems really keen to be all it can be for the customer. We will be back as it's clean and welcoming. It is a site with good clean facilities and a very helpful owner. There is the kids play area outside but no inside space, should the weather be poor and the kids need somewhere to congregate. I have teenagers and like to send them off in search of others the same age. A teenager den with wet weather /midge proof indoor space could be a good addition.
