About Glastonbury Hill Farm

The site offers stretching south facing views, seeing 20 miles to the Dorset coast on a clear day. The perfect distance from the town of Glastonbury with easy access to the Blackdown Hills, Mendip Hills and Quantock Hills - all Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Rest in one of the cosy safari tent, perfect for four or six. This accommodation includes a wood burning stove, a comfy double bed and soft bunk beds, and fully furnished kitchen and living area with separate flushing toilet. Outside the tent, you'll find a private hot shower too. You'll find wildlife all around from the surrounding area to right next to your pitch. Wild deer and barn owls call this site their home, as much as the goats, sheep and chickens who live there. As well as an onsite farm shop, you can enjoy local produce with one of the sites breakfast hampers. Sorry, no dogs are permitted.

Facilities and amenities

Onsite enjoy a private rustic outdoor shower, toilet and sink, as well as an honesty shop with all the basic essentials. Breakfast hampers are also available to purchase.

Local pub, The Old Pound Inn, is only a six minute drive from the site, and is full of delicious food and drink to enjoy.

FAQ

Arrival is between 4pm and 6pm. If you expect to arrive later than this, please do inform the farmer as there is no on-site reception. Check out is 10:30am unless a late checkout has been pre-booked and agreed.

No sorry this is a pet free site.

Yes. You can fit a travel cot in the accommodation. You can also hire one from the site for a small fee. Due to limited space, only one cot per lodge is allowed.

The wood-fired stove inside of the accommodation will keep it warm and cosy. It is important to regularly add some wood. During the night, the site would recommend bringing warm pyjamas and perhaps some extra blankets and a hot water bottle.

Should you have to charge your phone during your stay, it will be possible to do so in the farm shop.

Take a day out and enjoy bustling Glastonbury, only a half hour drive from the site. With delicious food, wonderful independent shops and a famous yearly festival, this town has something for everyone!

Explore plenty of beautiful walks in the nearby areas of the Blackdown Hills, Mendip Hills or Quantock Hills, all designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
