About Orchard Farm Luxury Glamping and Campsite
If you're searching for a peaceful getaway in the Somerset countryside, look no further. This family run site is set in a picturesque six acre apple orchard with glorious countryside walks and great cycling routes to enjoy. All of the pitches welcome up to four guests, suitable for caravans, motorhomes and campervans. There are a total of four electric grass pitches located in a flat, mown section of the site, along with two electric hardstanding pitches. For those looking for a little bit of luxury, opt for one of the four glamping pods. The 3 larger Deluxe Pods sleep two adults or families with up to two small children, with a double bed and sofa bed, both with bedding provided. Inside you will also find a modern ensuite, along with a fully equipped kitchenette with a two ring hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and fridge with freezer box. The Deluxe Pod sleeps 2 adults with a double bed with bedding provided. Inside there is a private toilet,wash basin and heated towel rail,with shower in the campsite toilet block. It has a kitchenette with microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, fridge and freezer box. To keep you toasty on those cooler nights there is convection and underfloor heating, with a smart TV, Netflix for cosy nights in. There is also a table and chairs for dining, along with a hairdryer and wardrobe for storage. Outside your pod, you will also have a private decking area equipped with a Rattan table, chairs and a parasol. For soaking up the summer sun, you will have your own sun lounger, along with a BBQ pod for cooking up a delicious dinner. Campers can also enjoy a spot of al fresco cooking, with BBQs raised about 18 inches off the ground allowed. Dogs are welcome in the campsite but must be kept on leads. Dogs are not allowed in the glamping pods.

The site has a small toilet block with two ladies' toilets, one men's toilet and urinal and a coin-operated shower, as well as washing up facilities. WiFi is included in your pitch fee.
The village of Butleigh is a ten minute walk, with a local shop and Post Office. The nearest pub is The Barton Inn, less than a five minute drive or a 30 minute walk away.

Such a beautiful, quiet place to enjoy a short weekend break. The site is exquisitely small and well maintained. The facilities were just what we needed and the location was perfect for getting around the area. Kathy met us on our arrival and was helpful with local knowledge. We will be back again and highly recommend this campsite.

Orchard Farm Glamping and Camping has it all. It is well located near to Glastonbury, in a lovely rural setting. The flat, decent sized pitches are set in an apple orchard with easily accessible electric points. The facilities are well cared for and clean, and the owners are welcoming, and prompt at responding to enquiries. There are really lovely walks and bike rides that start at the campsite, and these are all well documented on their website. I highly recommend this campsite, and will definitely stay again, so I can continue to explore the local area. :)

Things to do on site and in the Glastonbury area
Glastonbury town is just 10 minutes down the road, arguably the nation's spiritual epicentre. The Chalice Well, Glastonbury Abbey, Glastonbury Tor are all must-sees and perfect for a day out.
The Haynes Motor Museum (20 minutes) is great for car lovers. See the collection of over 400 cars from the dawn of motoring to F1 and a selection of Bentleys, Ferraris and vintage American cars.
If you're wanting to treat yourself, Clarks Village shopping outlet is a ten minute drive away. With over 90 outlet stores including Osprey, Levi and Hotel Chocolat, there is something for everyone!
