The Cock Inn is a dog-friendly camping site with a pub on the edge of Hanbury, Staffordshire. This peaceful site stands in an elevated position overlooking the Dove Valley with fantastic views of the Weaver Hills in Staffordshire and the hills of the Derbyshire Dales. Ideally located, the Cock Inn is close to the famous Fauld Crater and the Peak District.
Within easy access to the A50 and the Peak District right on its doorstep, the Cock Inn in Staffordshire is an ideal place to stop by. Better still, there's an on site pub selling an array of locally brewed ales. The site has well-drained grass pitches with wonderful views of the rolling hills of Staffordshire and the Derbyshire Dales with many walking routes nearby. This includes the famous Fauld Crater, the site of the largest non-nuclear explosion in Europe. Explore England's oldest national park, the stunning Peak District, or take a day trip to Alton Towers. There is plenty to do nearby, making the Cock Inn campsite ideal for the whole family! After your day of adventures, pop into the on site pub and fill yourself up with the delicious food on offer before hitting the hay. Dogs are welcome at no extra cost.

The Peak District with many sights to see from The National Trusts Illam Park, a dog friendly area with river walks, the stepping stones at Dovedale is a great day with a stroll along the river to Milldale, or climb up Thorpe Cloud hill, sat 942 ft the views are stunning.
Alton towers is a 30 minute drive away, down the road is The National Trust Sudbury Hall and museum of childhood.
Burton-on-Trent is about seven miles away once the heart of British beer, visit the National Brewery Centre.
Ashbourne an old market town is worth a visit, standing on the edge of the Peak District it's about a 20 minute away.
The National Memorial Arboretum is close by and also dog friendly.
