Smith's Yard Glamping is a quiet and peaceful site on a livery yard in Brown Edge, 20 minutes from the Peak District. The site offers just two cosy bell tents equipped with comfy beds with outdoor seating and your own private fire pit/BBQ, great for a relaxing glamping getaway. You will also have the amenities of the town of Stoke on Trent and Congleton within a 20 minute drive, along with Alton Towers just 30 minutes from the site!

The tent is good enough for five of us to stay. Provided all the necessary equipment in the kitchen. The toilet is clean. Very close to horses in a stable. Good experience and will recommend to friends.

We had a lovely night stay. The tents are a good size and well equipped. The beds were comfortable for an airbed and the spare blankets made it really cozy. The kitchen and bathroom where also well equipped (even had some milk in the fridge for a brew!) Overall, it's good value for money. Friendly hosts, and the views are fantastic.

Lovely tent and had very clean and nice facilities with everything we could need. Owners lovely and helpful and the animals were great to see every morning.

We stayed at Smith's Yard for the weekend as two families with 3 children (aged 3-5). Whilst the weather wasn't kind, we had a wonderful weekend. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were particularly useful. The tents were well kitted out with comfortable beds, blankets and everything that we would need for a fire. We took along our own wood, but it was available to buy when there. The tents were hooked up to electricity which was a welcomed surprise! The winning feature for us was the privacy. The fact that we had the field to ourselves for the whole weekend allowed the children to explore and run around without the worry of bothering other campers. We would love to revisit, hopefully with better weather! We didn't explore the local area, but we did make it to one of the local pubs. The Top Pub was welcoming and the food was lovely.
