Great communication from Ruth and Scott. A calm and clean site in a rural setting. Easy cross country walk to the Gun Inn, where we had delicious food.

We can't recommend this place enough. The place was really well maintained, very clean and everyone helpful and friendly plus excellent facilities. The location is just superb with access to the farm and petting animals plus a choice of local pubs to walk to in less than 15/20 mins. The fire pit was a lovely touch with the guys bringing around firewood between 5-6 o'clock plus in the morning at around 10, there was a coffee van!! Awesome place, will defo visit again.

Highly recommended - stayed over the August bank holiday and while it was busy it never felt crowded, big areas to pitch up in and we were placed with friends very easily. Personal service sets this place apart - the owners were very welcoming and friendly, bringing fire wood and locally sourced meat round each evening - superb bacon! Kids also loved seeing the animals. Both the Gun pub and tap room are lovely, within easy working distance and lots of nice footpaths to take you wround the surrounding countryside.

We had a warm welcome from both Ruth and Scott and a choice of pitch…which were all very spacious. Our hosts were very available and present during the stay. The facilities were well appointed and super clean... I loved the wood delivery option for the individual fire pits and also the option to to buy local produce... We enjoyed this visit to the farm and had a lovely time with all the animals... It was a lovely stay and would definitely visit again...

The campsite was lovely and the facilities were great - I never knew a campsite could have power showers! lol. Unfortunately, the weather cut our trip short, but otherwise we had a great time.

Found Hale Farm whilst attending a nearby music festival and had a memorable stay. The welcome was warm, the booking process very efficient, the provision of logs and kindling on time and as requested. The toilets and facilities were clean and we were able to purchase breakfast ingredients from our hosts. I would definitely recommend.

The site is a flat field with numerous numbered pitches, the toilets and general facilities were really clean all the time. It was pretty quiet the weekend we were there so not too much competition for the showers or toilets. The owners were super friendly and wanted to make sure we were happy with our experience. We did love the site!

We booked our first camping trip with our toddler and was a little unsure how it would go! We arrived to a huge pitch with decent gaps between the neighbours, which was ideal for privacy and quiet! It also meant our little one had space to run around without bothering anyone else! It came with a good fire pit, the grass was lovely to walk barefoot on, and the facilities were eco-friendly and clean. Our toddler loved visiting the farm animals too. It would have been great to know that farmer's produce was available to purchase on-site in the evenings (they come round tent by tent between 5-6pm each day) but we did this the second night. Here you can buy firewood too. Only downside was that you can hear the nearby road and there wasn't much shade in the field (it was a hot weekend!). But all in all, a peaceful field with plenty of positives!

Lovely campsite, not too far from Lewes. The facilities were very well maintained. There are 2 lovely pubs within walking distance from the campsite, and also nice places to walk. The campsite also has a farm, which you can visit in the morning with lots of animals. Would definitely come back again.

Enjoyed our stay here. Simple site, with no electric hook up, but that's what we like. Facilities are spotless and cleaned frequently throughout the day. Plenty of hot water for the showers. The owners were really friendly and helpful and can provide sausages, eggs etc and firewood. Each pitch is very spacious with its own fire pit. Lovely country location.

The facilities on this site were so incredibly clean and nice to use, especially the hot showers. That on top of peace and quiet made for a lovely experience for a couple looking for some time away from London.
