About Sandhaven Holiday Park
Hear the ocean waves, get out the bucket and spade or just saunter along the historic promenade from this beachside park. For days out, it's less than half an hour in the car to Newcastle, with Sunderland even closer and plenty of retail therapy on hand at Europe's largest shopping mall, the intu Metrocentre at Gateshead. Look no further for a well equipped park, with concrete pads, block paved car parks and modern facilities all provided. Pitches are set on hardstanding with gravel awning bays, electric to the pitch and water in easy reach.

Site facilities include modern shower and toilet amenities and fully equipped laundry room with washing machines, tumble driers and ironing facilities. The park has dedicated accessible facilities and dishwashing facilities.
The New Sundial pub and restaurant is just a five minute walk from site.

Site rules and policies
Pets are welcome. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and pet owners must clean up after their pets.
Dangerous breeds are not permitted.
No vans or commercial vehicles allowed
Caravans and motorhomes, no tents allowed
Only Elsan Green can be used at any time
Neither single sex groups or under 21 year olds allowed, including hen and stag parties
Noise levels to be kept to a minimum after 11pm and before 8am
All vehicles parked at owner's risk
We operate a strict zero tolerance policy on site with regards to rowdy, unruly and aggressive behaviour. Anti social conduct will result in immediate expulsion from the park
A speed limit of 10mph applies on site
Fully licensed drivers only
Household rubbish to be disposed of in bins provided
Disposable barbecues must be placed on bricks available from reception
Failure to comply with any of our terms and conditions can result in you being asked to leave the park. In these circumstances Sandhaven Holiday Park shall not be under any liability to the persons involved and shall be discharged from further performance of its obligation. Any refunds will be at our discretion
Things to do on site and in the South Shields area
The park is in easy walking distance of everything that South Shields has to offer with top rides for everyone at the nearby Ocean Beach Pleasure Park, the beach and great places to wine and dine on Ocean Road all in place.
Spend lazy days on the Blue Flag beach at Sandhaven, digging your toes into its golden sand, and then take a ramble to enjoy the dramatic views at Marsden Bay.
