Camping Ty Du is a family friendly rural retreat located in the countryside, just a couple of miles from the coast. There are just five grass pitches for your own tents and all pitches have the added benefit of private fire pits and picnic benches. Sit back and relax at this small and peaceful site.

About Camping Ty Du Farm
Nestled on the edge of the coastal town of Llanelli, this peaceful campsite is perfect for couples or families looking to explore the West Wales countryside and coast. There are fifteen non electric grass pitches suitable for tents, all of which are very spacious and spread apart with idyllic countryside views. Fire pits and picnic benches can be provided free of charge for a spot of "al fresco "dining. These are subject to availability. This is a wonderful choice for anyone looking to switch off from daily life and completely relax. No dogs allowed, sorry.
The site is open for the late May bank holiday weekend, then for weekends from 12th July until 1st September.
Onsite facilities include male and female flushing toilets, two hot showers, a washing up station, a recycling area and individual lockers with charging points.
Felinfoel village is just a short distance away and here you'll find several shops, pubs and eateries.

It is a lovely place, especially for people who want relax from fast paced life. Very friendly for family. The owners are really lovely people, looking after their customers like no-one else. They would do everything for you. The only small issue is you cannot hide from sunshine as there was no shade until 7pm in the Summer. Apart from that we will come back but hopefully with a gazebo :)

We had such a lovely say at Ty Du Farm. We only booked 2 nights as we were unsure if my little one would enjoy it (being his first camping experience), but we all loved it and I wished we had stayed longer! Location is fab, really close to shops and local attractions (Wetlands/Pembrey Country Park) but also feels like you're in the middle of nowhere at your pitch. The owners of the site were really friendly and welcoming. The toilets and showers were what we expected of a campsite - not luxury but clean - and that's the main thing. Great value for money compared to other sites we priced up. We had the camping experience without the hassle of setting up! Would love to visit again!

Things to do on site and in the Llanelli area
There are several beaches nearby which make for a lovely day out for all. Burry Port beach is just 20 minutes away and is a peaceful sandy beach. Cefn Sidan beach is 25 minutes away and boasts beautiful dunes and golden sands for all to relax and play on.
Visit the Swiss Valley Reservoir just a five minute drive away and the perfect spot for some water sports, nature walk and peaceful waterside picnics.
The Gower is a 25 minute drive, the M4 takes about 10 minutes and the magnificent West Wales coastline including Tenby, Saundersfoot can be accessed in an hour. Folly Farm, Oakwood are very popular venues for children.
