A note from the site themselves...
Bob and I moved to Wales during the pandemic, when both our industries stalled overnight - Bob worked in theatre and I in events. Having dreamed of a smallholding in the countryside for many years, we recognised that this was our opportunity to 'break out' so we sold up near London and set off on our great big Welsh adventure.
Our first glimpse of the Brecon Beacons was driving over the Black Mountain Road and as our mouths fell open in awe at the dramatic views, we knew that this was the place for us. Within three months we had made the move and then spent the next three months taming the wilderness around us into a working campsite.
Bob and I like to think that "if Carlsberg did campsites", it would be like Cosmos Camping. Quiet, tranquil, stunning mountain views, epic night skies and fluffy balls of sheep scattered across your horizon but just not in your tent! Actually the neighbours sheep do occasionally break in but that just adds to the experience, and 'encouraging' them off site makes for entertaining film footage.
Life here is a lot of fun. It is also a place of extreme beauty and calm. We love sharing this with our campers and want them to feel like they have joined a very special club, one they can come back and visit whenever they want or feel the need.
Grass pitches without electric suitable for tents only, all have spectacular mountain views. Fire pit provided in a car free zone but parking is nearby. Gazebos allowed.
Non Electric Grass Campervan Pitch
Max 5 people
A separate grass pitch for campervans and roof tents only. Maximum unit length is 7m. No electric. Fire pit also provided and gazebos are allowed.
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesSep 2023
Absolutely amazing few days. Owners are so friendly and helpful and really made me feel so welcome. The shower facilities are gorgeous and always clean.
Very doggy friendly! They even set up a doggy paddling pool for the hot weather. I'm a solo female camper and the hosts always made sure I was okay. Even after a sunset hike and getting back late instead of waking up my neighbours I could make myself a cup of coffee and some food in their facilities.
By far the best campsite. It literally has everything for a peaceful holiday surrounded by beautiful views. Great location. I will definitely be returning ❤️

Highly recommend, this has to be the best campsite we have ever stayed at.
The facilities are excellent and so very clean, pitch was flat and well positioned and the atmosphere was perfect. The hosts Bob and Alex are so friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Wonderful evenings under the starry skies, sat round the fire pit. We are booking again and look forward to returning.
