A wonderful location to switch off. This off-grid site offers an 'almost wild' experience in the beautiful Powys countryside. A haven for wildlife, the site is just a stone's throw from the River Wye with the woodland providing a restful shaded area. There are just five non electric grass pitches onsite, each dotted around to ensure optimum peace and quiet. Each pitch allows tent and trailer tent campers only, with up to six guests per pitch. Evenings can also be spent enjoying the communal fire pit, with all firewood provided. Bring your marshmallows, cook up a BBQ or simply unwind and have a chat with the other campers. This is a dog free site, and individual fire pits are not allowed. Please note, the site is a member of the Greener Camping Club so at least one of each party must be a member, but this can also be purchased when you book.

Just a short walk from the River Wye, this is a great location for waterside walks and gentle strolls through the countryside. For a longer walk, Builth Wells is around an hour and a half stroll away where you can find charming pubs and eateries.
For a really spectacular sight, head to Claerwen Dam Viewpoint (40 minutes). The dramatic view over the reservoir will take your breath away, and there are plenty of trails you can follow through the Elan Valley too.
If you are a lover of birds, then Valley View Falconry is 20 minutes away. Have an experience you won't forget, with the chance to meet and greet hawks and owls and even fly and handle them!
