Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire

Hidden Valley

Hidden Valley is a small, family-run glamping and camping site located in the beautiful Teme Valley, in a spectacular "you could be anywhere on the planet" setting. It's a place of solitude, and with only two bell tents and a handful of tent pitches in the wild nine acre orchard, you are guaranteed your privacy.

Large Tent - Grass PitchesAug 2023

We had a fantastic 5 night stay here. I must admit, I wasn't sure what to expect, but totally fallen in love with this site & we hope to stay again next year. We stayed with our 12 & 10 year old sons, so much room for them to play outside the tent, best space they have ever had…. and also to explore safely on the site. Toilet/shower area very clean. Tenbury Wells is a 5 mins drive away and has several great shops like greengrocers, butchers & bread shop along with Tesco.

Medium Tent - Grass PitchesJun 2022

The owners made us feel very welcome and at ease. Location is so beautiful, surrounded by trees, horses and silence… Composting WC were cleaner than the usual once. Showers were great! Washing up facilities were brilliant and an exciting short distance walk for kids. Highly recommended place for happy campers!

Site's response

Thank you Vilma. Amber enjoyed playing with the children and it was lovely to see them running around the site. I'm glad you had a good time despite the weather, and we hope to see you again soon.

Shhhh... Hidden Valley is a hidden gem...

Lovely campsite, family run and very clean and tidy. Environmentally conscious too, with compost toilets and solar powered lighting. We stayed in a Bell Tent, and appreciated the effort made in making it so comfortable. Teeny log burner to keep the chill off in the night and having the tent on decking and with sisal flooring inside, really made it feel warm and dry. Cute little outside kitchen which looks like a beach hut, got everything you could need with a double ring gas cooker. And of course there's an outdoor fire bowl (tyre rim) for sitting round in the evening, watching the stars and listening to the owls.

Thanks Jess. It was great to see you all again, theres no better review for us than when we see familiar faces return year after year. See you next year? :)

We had a great weekend here. I loved camping in a field next door to cute, friendly horses! The campsite was in a beautiful location, quiet and peaceful with plenty of bird life. Lots to do and see locally also. We'd definitely return!

Site's response

Thanks Julie, glad you had a lovely time. The horses do get loads of admiration from our guests - even when they're galloping around like idiots! Hope to see you again soon.

We have been to many 'wild' campsites, always preferring the small, quiet and secluded ones where you can feel truly within nature. This one has surpassed them all. The valley is, well, really hidden! The camp pitches remain few, and we really appreciate that they've kept it that way as it retains all that we love about the site - the seclusion, the absolute escapism. The owners are so wonderful, they have become more like friends to us over the years. Still hugely impressed even now by the solar shower and compost loo - great eco effort, and always so attentively well kept. We have been coming here with out child and now children, for 6 years. The bell tents are also worth mentioning although we have never stayed in one - just admired them as family members have had that luxury when staying with us - they are so so pretty, and luxurious and so well kitted out. So much thought and care goes into everything at this site. Couldn't recommend it more.

Site's response

Thanks Kate, always a pleasure to see you all and we're looking forward to your next trip with your parents.

Love this campsite. This is actually our second visit. The first time we camped as a couple in the top field and this year we glamped with our little one. Strikes the perfect balance between feeling wild and yet has all the modern luxuries you could need. Because of its location in the valley and how well placed the pitches are, you can’t really see or hear your fellow campers making it feel really private and peaceful. The views are fantastic. Absolute treat to be able to have a hot shower and wash up in a sink. Lots to do in the area too if you like pubs, restaurants and walking. Will come again.

Site's response

Thanks, Elizabeth. The most rewarding part of doing this is seeing friendly faces return year on year. Glad you had a lovely time in the bell tent and we hope to see you all again in the future.

I've been camping for years and there's nowhere I'd rather stay. The kids love the wildness but equally, I've stayed here alone and had a very peaceful meditative time. I never want to return to reality when I stay here.

Site's response

Cheers Andrew. Always a pleasure, we'll hopefully see you again this summer.
