With the walking county of the Lake District on its doorstep, this Kendal Camping and Caravanning Club site is easily reached from the M6. It has lovely fell views and is perfect for exploring the area.
The town of Kendal is a couple of miles from the site, with a good selection of restaurants, supermarkets and shops as well as the Abbot Hall Art Gallery, award-winning Quaker Tapestry Exhibition and the Brewery Arts Centre. A popular indoor climbing wall is half a mile from site. The closest lake to the site is also the biggest - Windermere. Non-members welcome.
