It was in a lovely rural location. The toilets and showers were kept immaculate by James the owner. There is only a pub in the village that serves good, reasonably priced food. It could be better if one of the fields was kept for adults only. A party of 4 or 5 families arrived with lots of children, and had a really good time, but in my opinion seemed like it spoiled it for the older campers because they took over a third of the field playing games. Apart from that, it was most enjoyable.

Such a beautiful campsite. It had everything you need for camping as well as stunning surroundings for beautiful walks. James was very helpful at every interaction. We would happily stay again with our children and more than happy to recommend to our friends and family.

Lovely and peaceful camping. Feeding time for their animals was fun and hearing James talk through his animals was a treat. Their website about the local area is also very useful and informative. Walking straight from campsite.
Wonderful campsite and a great location.

This was our first stay here and we will definitely be back! Probably our new favourite site. The place is clean and yet relaxed. So quiet too! Slept so well and only woken by the dawn chorus, what a way to wake up. Up, close and personal with the alpacas, goats, sheep and chickens and lovely to see the children getting involved too. Being able to hire a fire pit and buy some wood was a real bonus. The pub is only a few minutes to wander to, but with booking ahead as they get quite busy. Highly recommended.

Lovely stay at this small, low key, relaxed campsite with direct access to lots of paths and good local pub a walk away. On site animals were fun, especially the alpacas. Very clean facilities. Ready access to coastal and river walks etc

A lovely rural, quiet site. The cleanest showers and loos ever encountered camping. Clare and James were helpful and friendly but pleasantly low key. Excellent, despite the dreadful weather.

Wonderful campsite with excellent shower/toilet block. Very peaceful midweek stay in a relaxed environment. Footpaths directly from the site, one leading to pub 5 mins away serving great food and beer. Owners helpful and eggs for sale were amazing. Although site is in a quiet village it's close to many attractions and beaches on the Suffolk coast. Would thoroughly recommend and would like to return someday.

Lovely campsite, well kept and full of character, space and calmness. Chickens running free to welcome you every morning. Toilets and showers immaculate. A good base from which to explore the area and plenty of local footpaths to stroll or walk the dogs. While I was there, the shop and on site café were not open, but they looked very inviting. The only place I will look to stay next time I am exploring that part of the world.

Lovely spot. Very quiet and peaceful. The local pub, The Sorrel House, is very good and only 2 mins walk. The Ramsholt Arms by the river was also lovely, that's about a 5 min drive. Lovely facilities on site, and very clean and tidy.

Certainly worth the 5-star ratings: the location is perfect, on the edge of the village with a lovely church and pub, the site owners are friendly and helpful and the toilet/shower blocks are some of the best we've seen. Good-sized pitches broken up with trees, and chickens, pigs and alpacas in the adjacent fields to keep you company!

This was just the most wonderful weekend. Very well equipped campsite - didn't expect the fridge/freezer facility which was a bonus (especially in the hot weather). Chickens wandering round the site added fun, and being able to eat the eggs from these 'very free range' animals was great. It was lovely to be able to hire a firepit and buy firewood, too - and the cafe serving yummy coffee and cakes, and hiring out games was also a highlight. It's located within walking distance of a few pubs (and the nearest shop is a couple of miles away, too). Great to be able to park next to the pitch, and the pitches are well spread out too. And to top it all off, James and Claire are really welcoming and helpful. Basically, it was a fab weekend, and I'll definitely be back. I'd say it was a bargain, and the perfect place to explore the Suffolk coast from.
