Sunny Lyn Holiday Park is located in a wonderful position between Lynton and Lynmouth, with the West Lyn River running alongside the camping field - the scenery is simply stunning. A beautiful 10 minute walk along a footpath sees you into Lynton and you have the luxury of a cosy inn, restaurant and cafe on site (open seasonally) plus fishing. All this is set within the Exmoor National Park - so you'll definitely want to do some exploring.
About Sunny Lyn Holiday Park

Pitch up and allow the sound of the river with its mesmerising waterfalls to completely distract you. You should feel relaxed the moment you arrive. Standard and electric pitches are available for tents, but there are also fully serviced pitches for tourers and some extra special riverside pitches - perfect if you're into fishing. For those not bringing their home with them, there are great family breaks in self catering lodges and caravans. Sunny Lyn is a dog friendly site so there is no need to leave your four legged best friend behind. In fact, many of the shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants throughout Lynton and Lynmouth are dog friendly too so your pet will also receive a warm welcome.

Things to do on site and in the Lynton area
Whilst there is free fishing onsite, you'll also be tempting into trotting off on numerous walks and hikes in the national park. The Watersmeet walk, which Julia Bradbury chose on her 2017 ITV show Britain's Best Walks, starts from the park so it's a real must do when staying onsite. But there are many others such as the Valley of the Rocks, South West Coast Path, exploring Exmoor, Lee Bay, Heddon Valley, Countisbury, Brendon - the list goes on.
But Lynton and Lynmouth is more than just walking. The Victorian Funicular Railway connecting Lynton and Lynmouth town centres is a favourite, the small local beaches and coves (staff will point you to the secret ones), the bigger beaches such as Woolacombe and Croyde are only 20 miles away, numerous National Trust properties, Rosemoor Gardens, Woody Bay Steam Railway and many more attractions.
When in Lynton and Lynmouth you really must try the cream teas. There are loads of cafes available within walking distance waiting to serve you a traditional Devon cream tea. There are also numerous restaurants and pubs in both Lynton and Lynmouth town centres so you will be spoilt to choice there.
The amazing Cottage Inn Pub and Nartnapa Thai Restaurant adjoins the park, so you don't have to go far at all to eat well. The pub is the home to Fat Belly Beers, which are brewed onsite and the wonderful Thai restaurant/takeaway is the number one restaurant in Lynton (per TripAdvisor).
There are plenty of glorious beaches and Exmoor is ideal for cycling, horse riding/treking, kayaking, coasteering, sailing, boat trips, abseiling, paddleboarding and rafting.
Other attractions for the whole family are Exmoor Zoo, Dinosaur Park, Milky Way, The Big Sheep, Quinces Honey Farm, Dunster Castle, Rosemoor Gardens, Arlington Court to name just a few.
