Laneside Caravan Park is family run, nestled into the beautiful Hope Valley area of the Peak District. It's set beside a river and offers a good selection of pitches and glamping as a peaceful base for your adventures.
This sheltered site is home to shrubs, hedging and mature trees, just a five minute walk from the pretty village of Hope. It's ideal for families and couples and is well established, having opened initially in the 1950s. Laneside's 110 pitches suit tents, caravans and motorhomes, including grass spots with electric and fully serviced hard standing pitches. All the pitches are nicely spaced out and the electric supplied is 12-16 Amp. Even better, the park offers both family-friendly and adult only areas so that everyone can pitch up in surroundings that suit them. There are three glamping cabins too. Ursular and Billie sleep two with a double bed, there is also an ensuite and an equipped kitchenette. Bella is pet friendly. Billie has a double bed and two single beds, sleeping four. You will need to bring your bedding and towels. Jack's shepherd's hut is perfect for a romantic escape or a base for your outdoor adventure! Inside is a double bed, a log burner, a sofa and a TV. There is also a small well equipped kitchen as well as a spacious ensuite. Dogs are welcome. The outdoor decking overlooks Mam Tor, guests also have unrestricted access to the River Noe The site cannot accept tents larger than 6 x 4 metres or motorhomes/caravans longer than 8.2 metres.

Take a thirty minute ramble and you'll find yourself in the bustle of Castleton, but there are also other routes to test out, like the Pennine Way and cycling at Derwent Dam. The national park offers some of the nation's best walking and cycling.
Two golf courses nearby make it easy to have a game and you can fish close to Bamford or bring the kids to browse national trust properties like Kedleston Hall and Hardwick.
