Tarbert Holiday Park is the perfect place for a peaceful touring or glamping break. Located on the Kintyre Peninsula, it features spacious pitches and heated glamping pods, some of which even have en-suites. Watersport fans are in luck here with canoeing, kayaking and paddleboarding all close by. It's a handy location too for ferry trips to the isles. Open year round.

I had an incredible experience staying at Tarbert Holiday Park in one of their glamping pods. The pod was impeccably clean, and the cozy warmth made it a perfect retreat. The on-site facilities exceeded my expectations, especially the communal dining room, which had everything needed for preparing a delicious meal, along with a wide array of utensils. The well-maintained toilets and showers added to the overall comfort of the stay. I highly recommend Tarbert Holiday Park to anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Brilliant, modern and new facilities, all spotlessly clean. Communal kitchen prep area was very handy. Even has a coffee shop on site, although we didn't get to use it as we were just here for the one night.

This was a good site. The member of staff at reception was very friendly and helpful. Although there were a couple of information sheets at reception, more information leaflets for the area would have been really helpful, maybe a bank of local information located in the kitchen or laundry room? There was a nice café on site. The main shower and toilet block was adequate, however there were only 2 toilets and showers in each of the male and female blocks. I think it would be improved by having more of each. There was an additional small block of facilities at the top of the site consisting of one unisex toilet and 2 showers. I would have preferred more toilets, maybe separate ones for male and female.

Had a lovely extended stay at this site. Lovely receptionist Flora was welcoming and informative. A great place to stay if you want to use the site as a base or just decompress and enjoy the walks around the site.

Useful location. Quiet camp, but road noise on lower pitches can be significant. Never seemed to be anyone at reception and difficult to contact if any need. Facilities were very good but toilet/shower block could do with being bigger. Kitchen size and facilities very good.

We stayed here for a night with our campervan as we were visiting family. What an amazing place. The site was first class and considering we have stayed on sites that cost a lot more this week, this was by far the nicest. It has such a warm feel about it and the facilities are first class. There is everything you could need and more. Lots of toilets and showers. Laundry area is fully fitted out. Fully fitted out kitchen and dining area. Great cafe on site. Dog friendly If you are thinking about booking, don't delay, just go on and book.

We stayed in a superior en-suite glamping pod, which had a double bed and a sofa bed. We attempted to turn the sofa into a bed and found that it was extremely neat for space and there was only a sheet on the mattress, no duvet. The cafe on site was lovely. The staff were extremely helpful and made a lovely full Scottish breakfast. The countryside was beautiful and the view from the campsite was breathtaking. Would recommend.

Overall, a good small site in the process of being developed. We arrived just before 6pm. Toilets at the main block only had two cubicles and two showers side by side. Space felt fairly small, even though it isn't really. Showers/taps on a timer, only on for 20 secs, no facility to adjust shower head as integrated and no curtain to stop water getting everywhere. I came into a soaking wet space that had water all over the floor of the toilets as well and it was a bit messy. There was toilet paper on floor, muddy footprints and a bit dirty. This could just be the time of day or your luck, but the short bursts of water, I didn't think sites did anymore. Toilet/shower is the only thing letting this site down. Communal cooking area good if people choose to use. Good overnight stop en route elsewhere but shower facilities wouldn't make me want to stay longer. We stayed at 3 sites over the last week and these facilities, for us, were the poorest. Everything else about the site is great.

Pod was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Surprisingly spacious for 2 people plus a dog - nice to have small decking area for the dog too. Shower was good - very hot water. Nice coffee shop on site doing breakfast butties and open Saturday evening for beers/wine etc. Friendly staff

Great campsite in a lovely location. Bathrooms facilities were good and cooking/washing up facilities excellent. There was a nice cafe, but it would be good if this was extended to evenings as a bar and cafe. Also, as it is so far from the town I think a wee shop of basic provisions would be good - even if just at reception.

As I said above, the best campsite we've ever been to for facilities. Great value for money and staff so helpful. So many facilities, cafe, laundry, kitchen and fabulous showers.
