If you are looking for a rural escape in the picturesque Wiltshire countryside, this could be the ideal site for you. The car-free site makes for the ideal stopover for cyclists, hikers and campervans with almost-wild camping pitches providing a relaxing stay. Tent campers can opt between a small pitch for up to two, or a spacious pitch for up to four guests. The non electric pitches are spread across the site's glorious paddock, with wheelbarrows provided to assist with getting your equipment from the car park at the entrance to your pitch. Campervans are also welcome on their own non electric grass pitches, with up to four guests allowed. The site offers plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the outdoors and relaxing in the open. Being off-grid and with no light pollution, this dark skies site makes for the perfect place to lay back and marvel at the Milky Way on a clear night. With fire pits/ BBQ grills available, it is the ultimate location to enjoy a night in the open and escape the everyday hustle and bustle. Dogs are also welcome, so four-legged friends can have a much-needed break too!

Situated just off of the National Cycle Route Four, and within easy reach of the Pewsey Vale Circular Way, this is a prime spot for those looking to get out on their bike or pop on their hiking boots.
Located in the North Wessex Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty you will also be surrounded by stunning countryside and plenty of bridal paths and rural lanes for you to explore, many leading to charming pubs.
Just to the right of the entrance to the site, you will also find the glorious Kennet and Avon Canal. Take along a picnic and sit back and admire the boats or enjoy a long cycle ride along the waterside.
Wilton Windmill is a 40 minute walk away, enjoying glorious views over the surrounding landscape. The picnic spot is perfect for those wanting an idyllic spot for lunch, and during peak times you can also go on a guided tour inside. You can also enjoy the Roman Road and Wilton Waters nearby.
Savernake Forest is also just a five minute drive from the site, famous for being Henry VIII old hunting ground. The area has many historic landmarks for guests to discover, from Wolfhall (Jane Seymour's old home) to Iron Age museums.
