A 5 star, quiet park, Wombleton welcomes caravanners, motorhome owners and tent campers to a special spot between the coastline and North York Moors.
Independently run by the Willoughby family since 2002, Wombleton includes gravel and grass or hardstanding pitches for tourers along with grass pitches for camping under canvas. Electric hook-ups are available for all tourers, while tent campers can choose to stay with or without electric. With a total of 118 caravan pitches, 6 hardstandings and 17 tent pitches, you're sure to find your perfect pitch. Families are made very welcome, but the park is ideal for peace and quiet and doesn't have space for ball games and play parks - there are excellent play areas just a short way from site, however. Dogs are very welcome to join you here.
Open from 1 March to 31 October

Unfortunately Wombleton Caravan Park doesn't share their availability calendar with us yet. Availability changes quickly, especially in summer, so we recommend enquiring by phone to avoid missing out.
Please visit our website for up to date park rules.
We ask all dog owners to keep dogs on a short lead at all times and that they are exercised in the designated areas off the park.
Pop into the Plough, a friendly local village pub serving food and try some of the local flavours. Suitably refuelled, you can head off to explore pretty market towns such as Kirkbymoorside, Helmsley and Thirsk, browsing their local shops.
The national park is jam packed with outdoorsy options, from sweeping bike rides to incredible climbs and walks through distinctive Yorkshire landscapes.
