Open to members only, keen walkers and cyclists are well placed for the Cleveland Way on the doorstep of a small number of grass pitches surrounded by stunning scenery.

Set in a stunning yet secluded location on a working farm within the North York Moors, there's room for up to five caravans/motorhomes here. The site is family owned and well maintained, and there's a warm Yorkshire welcome on arrival. Those looking for a quiet stay can soak up the tranquil atmosphere with superb countryside views and an abundance of wildlife to see. Pitches cater for tourers only and are set on grass with electric hook-ups and drinking water points. Dogs are welcome onsite and there is easy access to dog walking routes from the site.
Carlton Grange aims to remain open all year round , but please note the site may be closed due to bad weather.

Groundsheets of any description are not accepted, nor awning heating, aircon units, fans or heaters.
Named recycling facilities, are on site, and it is politely requested all visitors use them. Large bulky cardboard, broken items and clothing cannot be accepted.
Several market towns are within easy reach from the site including Kirkbymoorside, Malton and Pickering. Further afield is York (45 minutes) and Scarborough less than an hour away by car.
Helmsley nearby is home to Duncombe Park and the Bird of Prey Centre. Don't miss a stroll through the Walled Garden in the village or time your visit for a dip in the open air swimming pool - a real treat during the summer months.
There is also a rich history in the area with Helmsley Castle, Rievaulx Castle and Byland Abbey all within easy reach.
