About Pennymoor Caravan and Camping Park

Pennymoor is a welcoming, spacious site in a rural location with panoramic views of Dartmoor and the Devon countryside. It's a particular favourite for those searching for a peaceful, carefree holiday with an onsite shop and takeaway menu. A 30-minute drive will take you to Plymouth, the famous Barbican, Ivybridge, Dartmoor National Park, Totnes, Kingsbridge, Dartmouth, Salcombe and many other beaches. It's in such a central location that makes this spot so tempting. Pennymoor offers plenty of space for touring caravans, motorhomes and tents, all close to excellent facilities, with a total of 119 grass and hardstanding pitches. Alternatively, you could hire one of a range of luxury home-from-home holiday caravans. The caravans are very well equipped with a full-size cooker, fridge and self-contained facilities. Most caravans are pets free, but some are reserved for well-behaved pets and their owners. Especially popular is the three-bedroom Lavender Lodge, which offers a truly relaxing holiday. This accommodation is perfect for families with a roomy lounge and dining area, a large kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, plus three good-sized bedrooms and a king-size bed. Don't miss al fresco dining in its large decked, gated area. Pennymoor also has new and used holiday caravans for sale or space for a new caravan of your choice. Indeed, many families return year after year, and the site has been owned and run by the same family for 87 years.

The site is open for camping, touring and static caravan hire from mid March until the end of October.

A note from the site themselves...

Pennymoor was opened by our Grandmother in 1935 and was passed down to our parents, who have since passed away. It has always been a huge part of our lives, helping out at the Site from a young age. It is a way of life. We meet so many lovely families who return year after year. Indeed, we have many visitors whose parents and grandparents visited us many times and now they themselves bring their own children,

We are very proud of the standard of the holiday caravans and the cleanliness of the whole site and the facilities. Every year we look forward to meeting our regular and new guests.
