Based in tranquil Shropshire countryside, The Shepherd's Loft is set on a family run farm in Frodesley village. Providing an idyllic stop off in quiet Shropshire countryside, this traditional and family run farm is home to touring pitches and a luxury glamping shepherd's hut. First established by their grandparents, the family have been Frodesley farmers for more than 120 years. Stop off to admire the dark skies here and finish the day sitting under the stars from your pitch or the hut. Eight touring pitches cater to campervans, caravans and motorhomes. Each give plenty of space, measuring 7m x 5m, with grass adjacent to the hardstanding too. Access to electric and shared facilities. A well behaved dog is welcome, provided they are kept on a lead, if touring. Sorry, no dogs are allowed in the shepherd's hut. Why not book a welcome hamper to greet you on arrival? Includes sausages, free-range eggs, locally sourced and organic milk, rolls, cheese bites, and a couple of Shropshire Ales too! (non alcoholic alternative also available).
Touring pitches are open from 29th March and the shepherd's hut is open from 20th May.

Hardstanding pitches, available for campervans, caravans and motorhomes only. Serviced with 16 amp electric - sorry, no tents. Hardstanding measures 7m x 5m. Max unit length 7m. One dog per pitch welcome.
The fishing lake here offers great fun right onsite - well stocked with carp, it's also ideal for sitting back and taking in the surrounding countryside here too. Booking in advance advised. Don't forget to bring your rod!
The Shropshire Hills AONB provide plenty of scenic walking routes, or take a stroll along a number of local footpaths, including a two hour circular walk leading directly from the site.
Attingham Park is 20 minutes from the site, a popular attraction owned by National Trust, or ambitious walkers can try tackling the heights of Long Mynd or the Wrekin, further afield.
