Ponsandane is in an ideal location for exploring South West Cornwall. It is within a ten minute walk of Penzance and its railway and bus stations - the closest campsite to the town. The site is a 15 minute walk from the ferry port to the Isles of Scilly and can offer parking whilst on the islands.
About Ponsandane Campsite
Ponsandane campsite is set within a 5 acre field, just a few minutes stroll from the stunning beaches of Mounts Bay. Despite being virtually next door to amenities, the campsite is in a parkland setting well screened by trees and bordered by Ponsandane Brook. Relaxed and friendly, the site is on level ground and is well screened from the road by mature trees. Campfires are allowed on the field, but please let the site know at check in if you want to have a campfire. Fire pits are available to hire and firewood can also be purchased.
Open from 1 July to 9 September
Site facilities include free hot showers and toilets.
The site is in close proximity to Tesco supermarket, and a short walk from the village of Gulval, which has a Post Office, church and pub.

Site rules and policies
No new arrivals on site after 9.00 pm. However, if you can't get to us before this time, please let us know as we do have a waiting area with electric which can be made available if we know you are going to be late.
