If you enjoy walking, you'll love Hayfield Camping and Caravanning Club Site. At the foot of the Dark Peak area of the Peak District National Park, it's an ideal place for gentle strolls or more challenging climbs.
Hayfield is at the foot of the Kinder Massif, the southern-most point of the Pennine Chain and offers tempting walking country in reach of a pretty, traditional Derbyshire village. Pitches are well presented and spaced out, including options for hardstanding and grass, both with and without electric hook-ups. Sorry, caravans cannot stay at this site. Non-members welcome.

A number of towns and villages close by are well worth a visit, including Castleton and Bakewell, famous for its tasty tarts. Walkers, you can set off for the Sett Valley Trail or a ridge ramble up Lantern Pike whenever you fancy something new.
Popular annual events include the Queen Festival in May, well dressings in June and July, and sheep dog trials at the Hayfield Show in September.
Nearby in Castleton you'll find Peveril Castle, which makes a fun outing. It is set on high and offers lovely views of the Hope Valley all around.
