California Cross Camping and Caravanning Club is the perfect holiday spot, ideally located between the wilderness of Dartmoor National Park and the beautiful sandy beaches of the South Devon Heritage Coast.
The beaches of the South Hams are ideal for a family day out, whether you choose to sunbathe, build sandcastles, surf or windsurf. Bigbury on Sea is one of the area's most spectacular beaches, where you can enjoy dramatic coastal walks or take the sea tractor to historic Burgh Island. Nature lovers and families will also enjoy Dartmoor Otters and Buckfast Butterflies in Buckfastleigh, Devon Wildlife Centre near Newton Abbot and River Dart Country Park in Ashburton. Enjoy a glamping break in a safari tent that fits six, with up to four adults. These offer full beds, bunk beds, a sofa and dining facilities. They're spacious with plenty of storage and cooking facilities and outside there's a shady deck. Sorry, no dogs.
