About Bay View Farmers Campsite
A peaceful family-run campsite set in the scenic North Devon countryside, just a five minute drive from sandy Woolacombe beach. If you are looking to escape the crowds and enjoy a laidback holiday, this site might be the perfect spot for you. Both families and dogs are welcome with beautiful coastal views over Lee Bay and on a clear day you can even see the Welsh coastline! There are 50 grass and gravel all weather pitches on offer, all suitable for tents, trailer tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes. With a wide range of options to choose from, guests are spoilt for choice between non electric, electric, super pitches or ones with sea views! Families can enjoy making their own entertainment, with a safe children's play park and plenty of space to kick a ball or fly a kite. Dogs are (quite rightly) considered full family members too, and there is a large pooch walking area for them to run, chase balls and generally roll around. Just a five minute walk from the local pub, guests can enjoy a busy day of building sandcastles or surfing and end the day enjoying a tasty meal at the local! Set in the North Devon countryside, this site is a walker's paradise with the Tarka trail and plenty of coastal walks nearby for the family and the pooch to enjoy. Campfires are allowed in the fire baskets available to hire as long as they are burning only low smoke eco friendly logs which can be purchased from reception. Only the logs and baskets from reception are permitted. Dogs are more than welcome at this site! Sorry, large and single sex groups aren't accepted.
Bay View Farmers Campsite is open from 20/05 to 31/08.
Facilities include showers and toilets with hot water, electric shaver sockets and hairdryers. There is also a covered washing up area as well as WiFi and mobile phone charging.
There is also a play area for little ones and a dog exercise area and wash for your four legged friends.
The nearest shop is a Nisa Local, a ten minute walk from the site. For meals out, the closest pub is The Fortescue Arms, a five minute walk away.

Things to do on site and in the Woolacombe area
Bay View Farmers has direct access to the wildflowers, insects and rambles of the Tarka Trail, which you can peacefully stroll or pedal all the way into Ilfracombe. In the other direction, various cycling networks run along the short distances to Croyde, Georgeham and Braunton.
There are several highly scenic walks to take the dog which lead off the Tarka Trail, either directly to Lee Bay, or following the coastal path all of the way to Bull Point Lighthouse.
The kids will go baa-my over the excitement of the Big Sheep amusement park (40 minutes), and the thrills of the Milky Way adventure park (50 minutes) will send them into orbit! For more family fun, try Exmoor Zoo (20 minutes) or Combe Martin Dinosaur Park (20 minutes), both a short distance from Woolacombe.
